Abstract
Range-Doppler algorithm is a classic algorithm for synthetic aperture radar (SAR)imaging. With the increasing requirement for high performance,the multi-core parallel signal processor was devel-oped,like TI’s C6678 8-core processor.In the process of implementing SAR imaging algorithm based on multi-core DSP,such issues as multi-core and multi-threaded design,multi-tasking in parallel,calculation and transfer parallelism critically affect the performance of the processor.In this paper,data parallelism is used as the design framework.According to the characteristics of range-Doppler algorithm,the techniques like the pulse compression and the receiving data parallelism,eight cores cooperative processing of large point pulse compression and multi-core independent processing of small point task,etc.,are proposed to realize parallel processing.With this parallel design of multi-core DSP,the processing performance of the range-Doppler algorithm is greatly improved.关键词
