Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of metformin on blood rheology and vascular elasticity in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods 2 cases of Type 90 diabetes patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group, each group of 45 cases. Patients in control group were given controlling diet, exercise,blood sugar and other type 2 diabetes general treatment, the observation group were treated with metformin on the basis of general treatment. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment in the observation group patients with type 2 diabetes was 93. 33%, higher than that of the control group patients with type 2 diabetes, the total effective rate was 71. 11%, the difference was statistically significant( Χ2=7. 601, P<0. 01). After treatment were observed in patients plasma specific viscosity, whole blood viscosity, fibrinogen, erythrocyte aggrega-tion and blood cell volume index level were lower than those of control groups, difference has statistical significance P<0. 01-0. 05. After the treatment was observed in the groups of patients with blood vessel elasticity index PEV beta, beta, AI and EP lev-els lower than control groups. The vascular elasticity index PEV beta, beta, AI and EP levels, and the observation group AC levels higher than that of the control group were AC levels, the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 01). After treatment, the ob-servation group of patients with FPG, 2hPG and HbA1c levels were lower than the control group of patients with FPG, 2hPG and HbA1c levels, the difference was statistically significant(P<0. 01). Conclusion Metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes can not only play a good hypoglycemic effect, but also effectively improve the long-term high blood sugar caused by blood rheology and blood vessel elasticity parameters increase abnormally, promote blood circulation and blood vessel elasticity gradually restored.关键词
