Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of MRI for the diagnosis of head and neck lymphatic malformation and to pro-vide reference value for treatment. Methods Retrospectively analyzed the medical records of 40 patients with head and neck lym-phatic malformation pathologically diagnosed by our hospital, and explored the clinical value of MRI in diagnosis and treatment of the disease. Results After the MRI diagnosis, the disease was usually distributed in parts where lymphoid tissue was rich. There were 19 large cystic patients, patients with single cystic type had regular shapes, the edge was not smooth for the rest, and T1WI showed low or equal signal, T2WI showed high signal;polycystic patients had irregular shape and T2WI showed low signal. There had 16 microcystic patients, the lesion was a honeycomb sponge, T1WI showed a complex signal and T2WI showed a high signal. There had 5 mixed type, all of which were cyst-solid mass, T1WI showed low signal, T2WI showed high signal. There were 23 ca-ses of simple operation in all patients, 9 cases were treated with simple sclerosis and 8 cases were treated with combined therapy. Conclusion MRI has important significance in the diagnosis of lymphatic malformation in the head and neck, which provides a powerful reference for the diagnosis for its specificity.关键词
