The Practice and Significance of Multiple Discipline Team(MDT) in the Treatment of Head and Neck Cancer
摘要
Abstract
The treatment of malignances requires multidisciplinary participation to formulate individual plan for pa-tients.Therefore the multidisciplinary team (MDT)model is proposed and practiced in the treatment of cancer worldwide. MDT in China started later than developed country,lack of unified standard,and significantly different between medical institutions.In this paper,we summarized the experience of the MDT practice in the treatment of head and neck cancer in Sichuan Cancer Hospital.We discussed the importance,organization mode,problems,and the direction of development of MDT in head and neck cancer.The purpose of this paper is to promote the practice of MDT in the comprehensive treatment of head and neck cancer.关键词
