摘要

Abstract

Bioactive gibberellins(GAs)as critical plant hormones,play a regulatory role in the diverse aspects of seed germination, leaf expansion,stem and root elongation,flowering,and seed development. Recently,growing research results confirmed that GAs are involved in the response to abiotic stress. Reduction of GA levels and signaling lead to plant growth slowing on exposure to several stresses, including cold,salt,drought,and osmotic stress,which allows plants to adapt to living environment. Conversely,increased GA�biosynthesis and signaling happen in plant escape responses to submergence. Additionally,DELLA in GA signaling pathway and some compositions in ABA signal pathway co-regulate the process of plant resisting to abiotic stresses. Here,we sort and summarize the research achievements on the regulation process of GAs in the response to abiotic stresses. The future direction of study on GAs in the response to abiotic stress is attempted to be clarified by discussing the relevant mechanisms.
