摘要

Abstract

Eu3+ doped Ba3 Y(BO3 )3 phosphors were synthesized via hydrothermal process by adj usting the hydrothermal temperature,holding time and the doped concentration of Eu3+. The structures,morphology and luminescence properties of the as-prepared samples were characterized by the X-ray powder diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and photoluminescence (PL).The results demonstrated that the obtained Ba3 Y(BO3 )3 phos-phors can be effectively excited by 3 9 9 nm.The emission peaks of the phosphor are centered at 595 nm,615 nm,695 nm and 710 nm originating from characteristic of the transitions 5D0→7FJ(J= 1,2,3,4)of Eu3+ ions,respectively.The peak around 615 nm is stronger than that of 594 nm and the ratio of I615 nm/I595 nm is 4,showing that Eu3+ ions site at lattice without the center of inversion symmetry.The optimum hydrothermal temperature,calcination holding time and Eu3+ doping concentrations required for maximum PL emission are 180 ℃,4 h and 3%,respectively.
