Effects of combining traditional fertilizers with biological organic manure and phosphorus fertilizer on bacterial community in tobacco fields of yellow soil type after soil consolidation

Abstract
Suitable soil microbial environment is a necessary condition for quality tobacco production. In tobacco fields, land consolidation can stir soil layer in a large scale which in turn influences soil microbial community. To study the effects of combining traditional fertilizers with biological organic manure and/or phosphorus fertilizer on the bacterial community in tobacco fields of yellow soil type after land consolidation, experiments were conducted in selected fields for three consecutive years to evaluate the quality of tobacco leaves. The results showed that combining traditional fertilizers with biological organic manure and/or phosphorus fertilizer improved the structure and diversity of bacterial community and increased the number of bacterial species. The relative abundances of Chloroflexi, Nitrospira, Proteobacteria and 51.4% of bacterial genera were higher than those of traditional fertilizer treatment alone. The improvement of the bacterial community structure in tobacco fields significantly increased the yield and output value of flue-cured tobacco and the percentage of high and middle grade leaves. Therefore, biological organic manure (applied to the soil before seedling transplanting at a rate of 675 kg/ha) and rhizosphere soil at 1 500 kg/ha (the mixture of 1 372.5 kg ash soil, 75 kg biological organic manure, 15 kg compound fertilizer and 37.5 kg phosphate fertilizer) were recommended for the tobacco fields of yellow soil type immediately after land consolidation.关键词
