Abstract
Objective This essay discussed about the methods and effects of double eyelid operation by “semi-open” on single-edged eyelid patients with upper eyelid swollen.Methods A incision with 10mm was made from the point to the outside along the double eyelid lines.Then the right amout of orbicular is muscle, orbital septum and fat under surgical margin were moved,and the front meibomian fascia was exposured. At last,two stitches were carried out according to the double eyelid operation with incision method and then the incision was sutured.Results There have been 63 cases used this methods.63 cases recovered well without cicatrix. Double eyelid operation remains stable and the results were satisfied.Conclusions “Semi-open” method of double eyelid surgery can be applied to the single-edged eyelid patients with upper eyelid swollen who are unwilling to accept double eyelid operation with incision method.This method can be recommend for the advantages of minor damage,less bleeding,slight swelling and quick recocery.The effect of double eyelid is natural and smooth.关键词
