Abstract
A new S-band transmitter structure with small volume and low-power consumption is presented for LEO micro-satellite applications. Due to the use of the image frequency of the DAC,the IF signal of higher frequency is generated with a relatively low processing rate. In this way, the downlink signal is moved to the transmitting frequency with one mixing stage, thus effectively reducing the transmitter's volume and power consumption. The transmitter was implemented on a printed circuit board,and the test results showed that a transmit power of 26 dBm and a power consumption of only 2. 2 W are achieved. The transmitter can be used in micro-satellites in orbits lower than 1 000 km.关键词
