Abstract

In order to achieve the tracking of the arc-suppression coil tuning,this paper put forward a measurement method named a new automatic arc-suppression coil compensation technology based on parallel damping resistor. The paper also changed the damping resistor which paralleled the arc-suppression coil, measured the neutral voltage or current, and then calculated the detuning and insulation resistance based on the neutral voltage or current amplitude and phase. Detuning size as a feedback calculated the system capacitor, andadjusted arc-suppression coil to achieve the tracking compensation reactive current. The corresponding simulation is carried out by using MATLAB. The simulation results show that this method has little effect on system operation and high accuracy, and achieves the tracking control of arc-suppression coil compensation. It can be used in the control of a follow resonant or pre-resonant arc-suppression coil.
