摘要

Abstract

Because electro-mechanical hybrid power controller (EMHPC)--a key element of Electrical Load Management Center(ELMC) of the More Electric Aircraft(MEA) is a kind of intelligent switches which incorporate the wire protection function of circuit breaker with the reliability of solid-state relay, this paper designs a new kind of Hybrid Electrical Power Controller with IGBT. On the condition of high voltage (270VDC) and large current (200A), it has the characteristics of great simplicity and reliability, that is, it has no contact chatter when the controller is turned on or off;main circuit will be shut down when contactor fault happened, it also has the feature of over-current protection for solid state switching device when large current occurred in the working circuit. The proposed controller is supported by experimental results.
