Abstract
Based on one piled wharf project at Tianjin Port, the penetration power are compared and analyzed for the steel pipe pile with different types of pile tip. According to the data on static-load trial pile, the plugging effect of semi-closed pile tip and the bearing capacity are also researched for the steel pipe pile driven to different depths. The trial pile results show that the application of steel pipe pile foundation with new-type pile tip to the piled wharf could reduce the length of pile, lower the investment, decrease the blow count for single pile and shorten the construction period effectively,which will provide references for the application of pile tip of steel pipe pile in the future.关键词
