Subaperture Wavenumber Domain Imaging Algorithm for Sliding Spotlight FMCW-SAR

Abstract
In this paper, the geometry of sliding spotlight FMCW-SAR is analyzed, the echo model is set up, and the two-Dimensional (2-D) spectrum of its echo signal is derived. From its signal characteristics, a subaperture wavenumber domain algorithm that corrects the Doppler frequency shift effect caused by the motion within the sweep is presented. The algorithm using azimuth resolution can acquire images better than those obtained in the stripmap case using subaperture coherent recombination. Thus, for an imaged area larger than that achieved in the spotlight operation, the subaperture images are combined. The echo model and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are analyzed and verified with the simulation results.关键词
