摘要

Abstract

In digital system,the counter is widely used. The counter is used not only in time-sequence pulse counting,but also in fractional frequency,timing,clock pulse generation,impulse sequence and digital operation. If a large-capacity counter is needed in practice,it can be enlarged by the way of cascade. There are two main ways for enlarging the medium-scale coun-ter chip in MSI. No matter which way is selected,the design core is how to write out the feedback-function,which determines the circuit connection. The feedback-function of binary code in synchronous counter and asynchronous counter is different. There-fore,study on their feedback-functions is very important for constituting a large capacity counter.
