Study on Ecology and High Yield Mechanisms of Close-to-Nature Forestry and the Corresponding Production and Application Models

Abstract
The growth feature of different types of forest stands managed under close-to-nature forestry theory both in China and abroad and the technical mechanisms of the theory were analyzed.The ecological and high yield principles of the close-to-nature forestry theory and the corresponding countermeasures to artificially promote the close-to-nature forestry management for ecology and high yield purposes were discussed.It was regarded that the ecology and high yield mechanisms of the close-to-nature forestry were based on the principles of individual compe-tition,natural selection,forest gap regeneration,reasonable space distribution and the growth rule of the timber vol-ume.The purpose of the management was to optimize and integrate each growth stage of the individuals to pursue the rationally temporal and spatial distribution,to realize the best growth state of each individual in the stands at different growth phases so as to achieve the maximization of the whole stand′s growth within the reasonable manage-ment stage.The theory of ecology and high yield close-to-nature forestry was named on the basis of systematical study on the mechanisms of the theory.Some cultivation models of different types of forest stands in China were put forward based on the management theory of ecology and high yield close-to-nature forestry.关键词
