Abstract
The properties of sodium hydrosulfite and thiourea dioxide were compared. The indigo dyeing with thiourea dioxide as the reducing agent was investigated. The effects of dye concentration, the amount of reducing agent, sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride and oxidized time on the reduction electric potential of dye liquor, K/S values of dyed fabric and crocking fastness. The results indicated that the optimal process of indigo dyeing with thiourea dioxide was as fol ows: the m(dye)∶m(thiourea dioxide) was 3∶7, the concentration of dye was 3 g/L, the amount of sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride, urea and sodium nitrite was 7 g/L, 3 g/L, 9 g/L and 9 g/L, respectively, and the oxidation time was 1 min.关键词
