Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of intensive treatment on pancreatic islet beta cell function in incipient type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods:100 patients with incipient type 2 diabetes mellitus were selected from March 2012 to March 2014. Patients were given insulin intensive therapy,treatment for 3 months,before and after treatment, fasting blood glucose(FPG),2 hours postprandial blood glucose(2 hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),plasma insulin,C peptide levels were determined. According to the measured results,we calculated the islet beta cell function index(HOMA-β) and insulin resistance index(HOMA-IR).Results:After treatment,FPG,2 hPG,HbA1c were significantly decreased,HOMA-β,HOMA,IR and serum insulin,C peptide levels were significantly elevated,compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:The application of intensive treatment in newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus can effectively improve the secretion function of beta cell of islet,and it was worthy of popularization and application.关键词
