H SI色彩空间的彩色图像小波域直方图均衡算法
Histogram Equalization Algorithm for Color Image Based on Wavelet Domain and HSI Color Space
摘要
Abstract
Color image enhancement is one of the widely used image processing techniques .As the traditional method usually leads to tonal variation as well as noise amplification in the enhanced image , a kind of novel histogram equalization algorithm suit-able for color image is put forward .First, the color image is transformed into HSI color space , and three-layer wavelet decomposi-tion is conducted on intensity component of the image .Then, histogram equalization is used to process the lower frequency compo-nent, and the enhanced image is accessed by wavelet reconstruct and color space transformation .The experimental results show that, by using the proposed algorithm, the enhanced image is not only able to keep the hue of the original image, but also evidently promotes the performance of noise suppression .The algorithm can be used in color image contrast enhancement to achieve a more ideal visual effect.关键词
