摘要
Abstract
An encoder rate control algorithm is proposed for the distributed residual video coding,which is based on scrambling the pixels of a residual frame with pseudo-random code in order to realize rate estimation at the fame level,i.e., estimating one rate for each residual frame.A quantization index estimation algorithm is also proposed to increase the ratio of successful decoding and solve the problem of rate underestimation.In the mean time,the statistical characteristics of the re-sidual signal at the encoder can approximately represent the correlation between the signals at both the encoder and the de-coder.No predicted side information needs to be generated at the encoder.The simulation results show that the proposed al-gorithm has low encoder complexity,high successful decoding ratio,less latency,and good RD performance.关键词
