Application of fibrin glue with bandage contact lens in recurrent pterygium surgery
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of fibrin glue with bandage contact lens for recurrent pteryg -ium surgery.Methods The study included 63 eyes of 60 recurrent pterygium patients who underwent pterygium excision combined with limbal stem cell conjunctival autograft transplantation from 2013 to 2015 in our hospital .Patients were ran-domly divided into experimental group (A) where bandage contact lens and fibrin glue were used and control group (B) where bandage contact lens and suture method were used .Surgery duration , ocular symptoms , healing time , recurrence rate and adverse reactions were evaluated .Results Our results showed that surgery duration , ocular symptoms , healing time, recurrence rate and adverse reaction are all better in patients who received fibrin glue and bandage contact lens . Conclusions Fibrin glue with bandage contact lens is a safe and effective treatment for recurrent pterygium .关键词
