摘要

Abstract

4.5 to 6.0 mm thick veneers, made from fast-growing poplar and eucalyptus, were used to manufacture laminated veneer lumber (LVL), and then the properties of the LVL samples were evaluated. The results showed that when the veneer glue spread was greater than 200 g/m2, the modulus of rupture (MOR), modulus of elasticity (MOE) and horizontal shear strength (HSS) of LVL met the specifications of the National standard GB/T 20241-2006, and could be used for packaging materials.
