Abstract
As a solution for inefficient alocation of land in the process of rapid "Bottom-up" development in Foshan, the renewal of urban area, villages and factories, namely "three-old redevelopment" had been carried out since 2009. What happened in Stone Village has been examined as a good example of urban renewal in Foshan. Based on the throughout field work at Stone Vilage, the main aspects of the redevelopment have been analysed such as the background and renewal model, the redevelopment proposal and its implementation, and the performance evaluation. The major positive experiences at Stone Vilage could be iluminating for the rest part of Guangdong Province.关键词
