摘要

Abstract

The seismic intensity of the Yongbuluo reservoir project area is quite high and the dynamic peak seismic acceleration is not less than 0.40g, In the design of the reservoir moderately weathered material was used as dam embankment material; a gentle slope was designed for the slip fracture surface treatment; a thick core wall with a gentle slope was provided to protect it from through cracking when an earthquake happens; a thick downstreamfi lter was arranged to protect the clay core; geotechnical grid wasfi xed within a certain extent of the downstream dam slope below the dam crest to reduce the risk of causing shallow sliding near the dam crest and to improve earthquake resistance as well.
