锁阳治疗前列腺增生的研究现状
Research progress of effects of Cynomorium songaricum Rupr.on the benign prostatic hyperplasia treatment

Abstract
Benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH ) is a common disease of the urinary surgery in elder men.Because of the age , most patients choose medication as the main treatment instead of operation.The tradi-tional Chinese medicine Cynomorium songaricum Rupr.has been consi-dered as a typical medicine for invigorating the kidney and strengthening Yang, and thus it is widely used for BPH treatment , while the active constituents and mechanism involved remain unclear.Pharmacological studies showed that Cynomorium songaricum Rupr.had the effects on regulating the renal functions , relieving kidney-yang deficiency , anti-oxidant, anti-stress, anti -fatigue and hormone -like effect.It con-tains a variety of active constituents including flavonoid , triterpenes, polysaccharides and so forth.Here, in this review, we summarized the pharmacological effects and the constituents of Cynomorium songaricum Rupr.which may be related with BPH and further discussed the possible active constituents that may play important roles in BPH treatment.关键词
