Abstract
Objective To provide correct guidance of diabetes treatment,promote rational drug use and let them play a better therapeutic effect and reduce adverse drug reactions ( ADR ) as well as diabetes complications. Methods 100 patients with diabetic in Yanta com-munity were visited and their medication status quo,treatment methods and physical condition were investigated. The patients were divid-ed into groups according to age,educational level and whether received standard treatment. The potential correlation among the medica-tion defects and treatment errors and the ADR thus generated as well as the diabetic complications. Results Diabetes treatment errors were as follows:some diabetic patients feared hypoglycemic agents,and believed in advertising of counterfeit drugs or medicine which adversely affected the illness and the body;some lacked control of diet and paid little attention to physical exercise,with only self-treatment or taking single drug,and having different levels of ADR and complications;some had low education level and knew nothing about the hypoglycemic type and the mechanism of action,resulting in abusing and misusing ofantidiabetic drugs,thus leading to ADR and complications. Conclusion Some of the diabetic patients don't follow the standard treatment and don't use secondary treatment;due to low educational level they know little about the type of hypoglycemic agents and the pharmacological information,resulting in abusing and misusing antidiabetic drugs and different levels of ADR and complication.关键词
