Abstract
Objective To study the clinical effect of modified upper limb restraint applied by ICU critical patients. Methods192 patients with restlessness from February 2014 to February 2015 in ICU of my hospital were randomly selected as clinical research object, who were randomly divided into research group and control group, 96 cases in each group. The research group received modified upper limb restraint, while the control group received traditional wrist restraint band and cotton parcel method constraint. The constraint effects, satisfaction on nursing, and utilization evaluation of constraint by nursing staff between the two groups were compared.Results In the research group, the pipeline accident pull out rate was significantly lower than that of the control group (P<0.05), the constraint complication rates were significantly lower than those of the control group, the difference of the two groups was significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction scores of constraint nursing by research group's family was higher than that of the control group, the difference of the two groups was significant (P<0.01). In the constraint evaluation by nursing staff, the score of guaranteeing skin integrity in binding site, observation convenience score, work pressure relief score of the reasarch group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe clinical effect and nursing satisfaction of modified upper limb restraint applied by ICU patients with restlessness were significantly better than that of the traditional constraint methods, which was worthy of promation.关键词
