Abstract
Objective To analyze and research the relationship between sperm DNA fragmentation rate and male infertility, and to explore the relativity among age, sperm fragmentation rate and semen routine parameters of infertile patients. Methods 100 male infertility patients who were selected as the study object this time from March 2013 to June 2014 in our hospital were divided into three groups according to the age, which were 25-29 years old group(n=33), 30-35 years old group(n=33), and 36-50 years old group(n=34), SCD was utilized to detect the sperm DNA fragmentation rate and analyze semen routine parameters. Results There was no correlation between normal sperm morphology rate and sperm motility(r=0.65,P>0.05). There was a negative correlation between sperm motility and age(r=-2.41,P<00.05), and positive correlation between sperm motility and sperm DFI(r=0.33,P<00.05). Conclusion With the increase of age, the sperm activity would gradually decrease, which had an effect on the male fertility. There was no close relationship between semen routine parameters and sperm DNA fragmentation rate. Therefore, sperm DNA fragmentation detection could be applied in semen routine analysis, which was considered as an important indicator of male fertility.关键词
