摘要
Abstract
For the problems of nozzle eccentric in continuous casting,the swirling flow nozzle was used to eliminate the adverse effects of eccentric nozzle.A three dimension mathematical model was built for fluid flow and heat transfer in the round bloom continuous casting mould.The flow and temperature field were compnted under prototype nozzle and the new type nozzle conditions.The results show that a strong horizontal swirling flow is observed with a proper nozzle angles,the drift index and impact depth of liquid steel can be declined.The swirling flow also be beneficial to dissipation of steel supper heat and the cross-section solidified shell distributes uniformly in the mould.关键词
