Abstract
The centrifugal casting module of Procast cannot be used in horizontal centrifugal casting directly.The differences between two centrifugal casting containing filling characteristics,and the force state were investigated.A method was put forward to simulate the filling and solidification process of horizontal centrifugal casting.It is showed that the filling and solidifacation process are in accordance with the actual production.the interval time during the casting of the internal and external layers is of great importance to the quality of the castings.A way was established to determine the interval time during the casting of the internal and external layers.Based on the numerical simulation by modify the parameters,the regular of the filling process and the interval time in the solidification process were obtained.关键词
