基于辉光弧光放电测试条件下 GDT 与 MOV 的性能配合研究

Abstract
Concerning problems of the matching performance between metal oxide varistor ( MOV ) and multi-elec-trodes gas discharge tube ( GDT) , different variations can be inferred in parallel with the different parameters of MOV when the multi-electrodes gas discharge tube is Concerned , according to the operational principle of them , during the stage of arc glow discharge under glow and arc discharging test ,the glow voltage , arc voltage , glow current , arc cur-rent, glow time and arc time of the gas tube can be effectively reduced .In view of the Townsend theory , during the stage of glow and arc discharge the equivalent discharge model of gas tube was founded .Further study on the variation of different parameters under the glow and arc discharging test , the correctness of the model was confirmed;during the experiment , it was also found the low and arc transition time of GDT was decreased and the response time of the multi -gap was markedly shortened when MOV was in parallel with the negative electrode of gas tube during the impulse . Based to the results and theoretical analysis , a new method of parallel connection between multi-electrodes gas dis-charge tube was proposed in metal oxide varistor , which has a certain reference value in the practical application .关键词
