Status and Trend of High Temperature Converter

摘要

Abstract

High temperature converters play an important role in extremely high temperature applications such as more-electric aircrafts, hybrid electrical vehicles and deep-earth petroleum exploration. SiC power devices are characterized by higher operation junction temperature, lower power loss and excellent thermostability, which is benificial for realization of high temperature converters. This paper describes the applications of high temperature converters, and presents the status and trend of every components. Prototypes and crucial issues of high temperature converters based on SiC devices are also discussed.
