Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of curcumin for laryngeal cancer on the expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax genes.Methods Hep 2 cells were cultured in curcumin medium.According to different culture times,they were divided into group A (cultured 24 h) and group B (cultured 48 h).The cells' proliferation was determined by MTT method.The expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax genes were detected by RT-PCR.Results There were statistical differences between these two groups under the different concentrations of curcumin (P ＜ 0.05).Under different culture times,there were statistical differences in the expressions of Bcl-2 and Bax genes between these three groups (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Curcumin is significantly time-dose dependent in the inhibition of Hep-2 cell proliferation.Bcl-2 concentration decreases and Bax concentration increases with curcumin concentration.It is effective in anti-cancer.关键词
