Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation of hyperuricemia with hypertension and dyslipidemia in patients with new-onset type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).Methods A total of 170 newly diagnosed T2DM patients were enrolled and divided into a normal serum uric acid(NUA) group and a hyperuricemia(HUA) group according to serum uric acid levels.The clinical indexes such as lipids and renal function were compared between these two groups.Results The prevalence of HUA in newly diagnosed T2DM patients was 20.0％.Diastolic blood pressure(DBP),waist circumference(WC),body mass index(BMI),serum creatinies(SCr),24 hour urinary albumin excretion rate(UAER),triglycerides(TG),and very low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(VLDL-C) were all higher and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) was lower in the HUA group than in the NUA group (P＜0.05).According to multiple linear regression,DBP,BMI,WC,TG,HDL-C,and Scr were influence factors of HUA (P＜0.05).Conclusions Hyperuricemia correlates with hypertension,obesity,and dyslipidemia in patients with new-onset T2DM.关键词
