摘要
Abstract
The incidence of head and neck squamous cell cancers has declined as the control of traditional risk factors of tobacco and alcohol abuse. However, the incidence of those caused by high risk HPV types 16 and 18 infections has increased obviously. HPV-related head and neck squamous cell cancers display distinct gene expression proifles and biology features. What is more, they are sensitive to radiation chemotherapy and have good prognosis and survival. Hence their treatment is different from other head and neck squamous cell cancers. hTis review is concentrated on the epidemiological characteristics, carcinogenic mechanism and diagnosis and prevention of HPV-related head and neck squamous cell cancers.关键词
