Abstract
Objective To investigate effects of different surgical methods in treatment of patients, with sublin-gual gland cysts (SGC). Methods Clinical data of 118 SGC patients who underwent surgical treatment during April 2010 and February 2014, was retrospectively analyzed. Among the 118 patients, 93 patients underwent intraoral approach surgery, 5 patients underwent marsupialization, 15 patients underwent submandibular approach surgery and 5 patients un-derwent intraoral combined with submandibular approach surgery. Pathological examination was performed for removed tissues. Clinical effects, complications and recurrence during follow-up of 2 years were observed. Results Chronic in-flammation was found in sublingual gland tissues and capsule walls. Total effective rates of intraoral approach, marsupial-ization, submandibular approach surgery and intraoral combined with submandibular approach surgery in treatment of SGC patients were 94. 6%, 60. 0%, 86. 7% and 100. 0% respectively, and incidence rates of complications were 29. 0%, 40. 0%, 20. 0% and 40. 0% respectively. Recurrence rates of patients undergoing intraoral approach and intraoral com-bined with submandibular approach surgeries in postoperative 2 years were low. Conclusion Intraoral approach and in-traoral approach combined with submandibular approach surgery in treatment of simple and extraoral type sublingual gland cysts have good curative effects, low recurrence rate and incidence rate of complications.关键词
