Abstract
Quinoline quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized at different temperatures using quinoline and benzyl chloride. Effect of Ca2+and Ca2++Cu+on the corrosion inhibition action of quinoline quaternary ammonium salt for N80 steel in 15%HCl solution were investigated using weight loss method and polarization curve method. The corrosion behavior of N80 steel in 15%HCl solution was analyzed by using scanning electron microscopy method. Results showed that the corrosion efficiency of synthesized quinoline quaternary ammonium salt increased with the increase of the reaction temperature. Addition of Ca2+could enhance the corrosion efficiency of quinoline quaternary ammonium salt in 15%HCl solution, but can’t meet the SY/T 5405—1996 Class A of the industry standard requirements(corrosion rate<3 g/(m2·h)). When adding different proportions of Ca2++Cu+, the corrosion rate of N80 steels were less than the Class A of industry standard requirements. Electrochemical results showed that the combined inhibitor was mainly a mixed corrosion inhibitor. SEM results showed that the combined inhibitor has a good corrosion efficiency to N80 steel at 90℃, but when the temperature raised to 140℃, the corrosion efficiency was bad and had corrosive pitting appeared.关键词
