Abstract
Aiming at the unqualified root bend problem that occurred in trial production of X100 grade Φ1 219 mm×14.8 mm SAWH pipe, the fracture failure reason of three typical cracked specimens was carried out by the methods of metallographic microscope, scanning electron microscope and energy spectrometer tests. The results showed that the root bend failure mainly generate in heat affected zone, the weld fusion line area and the weld fusion line, the main reason is the abnormal massive M/A structure in crack initiation position of welded joint, as well as some welding defects, including inclusions, pores and so on, become the crack source induced fracture, leading to root bend and cracking.关键词
