语言对外来农民工收入的影响--基于对上海外来农民工情况的调查
The Impact of Language Ability on Earnings of Rural Migrant Workers-Based on the Investigation on Rural Migrant Workers in Shanghai

Abstract
In order to underst and the impact of language ability on earnings of rural migrant workers,through both absolute income and relative income perspectives,this paper establishes an econometric model by using migrant workers'investigation data in Shanghai in 2011.It is found that the improvement of proficiency in Shanghai dialect is not only beneficial to the increase of their absolute income but also relative to the positive perception of their relative income,while the influence of mandarin and hometown dialect is not significant on neither absolute nor relative income.Shanghai dialect, as an important non-institutional factor,has been a media for migrant workers to gain psychological equality,which plays a positive role in their active integration to city life and in their perception of being discriminated.关键词
