Influence of multidisciplinary team collaboration care on self care ability and quality of life of patients with naso-pharyngeal carcinoma undergoing radiotherapy

Abstract
Objective:To probe into the influence of the multidisciplinary team collaboration care on self care a-bility and quality of life of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma.Methods:A total of 1 1 8 hospitalized patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma undergoing radiotherapy were divided into observation group and control group by random Numbers table,5 9 cases in each.The patients in control group received routine nursing,and the pa-tients in observation group received the conventional nursing and the multidisciplinary team collaboration care. Before and after nursing intervention 6 months,compared two groups of patients with self care ability and quality of life by used the self care ability measurement scale(ESCA)and WHO quality of life measurement table (WHOQOL BREF),then to investigate the nursing satisfaction.Results:After 6 months discharged from hospital,the self care ability ESCA rating scores of the patients in observation group was(146.62±8.73),sig-nificantly higher than that in control group(114.56±8.29)(P<0.01);survival quality WHOQOL BREF rat-ing score of patients in observation group was(68.56±3.79),significantly higher than that in control group(54.49± 4.77)(P<0.01).The last follow up,the nursing satisfaction in observation group was 98.31%,significantly higher than that in control group 81.36% (P<0.05).Conclusion:During the perioperative period of patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma undergoing radiotherapy,multidisciplinary team collaboration care could improve pa-tients'self care ability and quality of life,and obtain more ideal nursing satisfaction.关键词
