Three Dimensional Modeling and Visualization of Spatial Distribution of Rice Root
摘要
Abstract
To clarify the spatial distribution characteristics of rice roots,"root box" experiments were con-ducted to collect root distribution data,a 3d shape model of rice roots was built by analyzing the changing regu-larity of root growth with development progress,which could be used to describe quantitatively the dynamic re-lationships between root growth and development of rice and environments,including the initial location of the root nodes,the direction of root growth,location and growth direction of adventitious roots in rice.According to the geometry parameters of rice roots,the three-dimensional morphology of rice roots was built on computer with Visual C++ 6.0 and OpenGL.The results showed that the system was effective.The results mentioned above in-dicated that the model behaves well to predict rice root morphological development,and offered reference for visualization studies on other crops.关键词
