Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of case management model of breast cancer on improving the completion rate of chemotherapy in h breast cancer. Methods Ninety-five breast cancer patients were received routine medical treatment and nursing care in the treatment as the control group in our hospital from August 2011 to July 2013. Ninety-six breast cancer patients were performed a case management model and conventional medical treatment and care as experimental group from August 2013 to July 2015. According to NCCN guide, patients in the two groups underwent postoperative chemotherapy treatment. The completion rate of chemotherapy in the two groups were analyzed. Results Eighty-three cases in control group completed chemotherapy, another 12 patients did not complete chemotherapy. Ninety-four cases in experimental group completed chemotherapy, two patients did not finish chemotherapy protocol. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05), reflecting the case management model group was better than the control group. Conclusion The application of case management model can effectively improve the completion rate of chemotherapy in patients with breast cancer.关键词
