摘要

Abstract

A deoiling-dewatering liquid-liquid hydrocyclone was simulated using CFD to analyze the influence of underflow and overflow back pressure on the flow field and separation efficiency of the hydrocyclone.Results show that the effect of the underflow back pressure and the overflow back pressure on flow ratio of the hydrocyclone could be attributed to the influence of the pressure drop ratio;the effect of the underflow back pressure and overflow back pressure on the separation efficiency of the hydrocyclone could be attributed to the influence of flow ratio or underflow ratio;the Newton efficiency was more comprehensive to represent the separation performance of the hydrocyclone compared with traditional deoiling and dewatering efficiency.The Newton efficiency in-creased first then decreased with increase in underflow ratio and existed a point where the separation performance peaked.The re-sults and new representing methods could be used as a guide for the research and application of liquid-liquid hydrocyclones.
