Influence of the Extended Blade on Efficiency and Aeroacoustic Noise of a Cross-flow Fan
摘要
Abstract
Using k-εturbulence model and PISO arithmetic,the efficiency and noise between a baseline fan and a controlled fan with extended blades was contrasted.The result shows that overall pressure efficiency increases by 3.8% in the control case. Through F W H equation based on Lighthill's acoustic analogy,the noise is reduced about 7dB at the monitor point in the control case.Finally,Powell vortex sound equation was used to explain the mechanism of reduction of the noise.关键词
