Integration Technology for Improving the Survival Rate of Newborn Calves
摘要
Abstract
Calves are reserve force for the cattle. The survival rate of newborn calves is associated with the growth performance, reproductive performance and economic benefit of breeding. Based on the physiologic characteristics of the newborn calves, including non-developed and matured tissues and organs, non-perfect defense function, weak environmental adaptability, poor resistance to diseases, we introduced the key technical points in feed and management of peripartum cow as well as rearing of newborn calves.关键词
