Abstract
Objective:To study the factor contributing to treatment disruptions of middle aged and elderly people with stroke .Methods:A descriptive cross sectional study was carried out at neurological rehabilitation department of the third affiliated hospital and neurology de -partment of the first affiliated hospital of Jiamusi University .41 middle aged and elderly patients who had stroke and who had a history of treatment disruptions responded to an interviewer for the reason of defaulting treatment .Data were analysed for means and frequencies . Results:Factors that contributed to treatment disruptions of included caregiver related factors (41.5%), rehabilitation factors (31. 7%), patient related factors (26.8%), economic constraints (22.0%), and other factors(9.8%).Conclusion:A combination of in-cluded caregiver related factors , rehabilitation factors , patient related factors , economic constraints , and other factors contributed to treat-ment disruptions of middle aged and elderly people with stroke .The network of rehabilitation treatment should be further improved and the rehabilitation education should be further expanded for the health of the patient .关键词
