摘要

Abstract

Water-soluble low molecular weight chitosan was obtained by hydrolyzing chitosan with 100,000 Daltions.The chitosan modified by thioglycolic acid was used as a stabilizer for CdTe quantum dots (CdTe QDs).Fluorescence emission spectra show that the maximum emission wavelength of the prepared QDs is 546 nm.CdTe QDs powder was prepared by centrifuging the QDs solution and drying the obtained precipitation.The prepared CdTe QDs could develop latent fingerprints on glass, aluminum and copper plates pretreated with α-cyanoacrylate fuming. Addtionally,the latent fingerprints on aluminum plate and paper currency could be directly developed with CdTe QDs in absence ofα-cyanoacrylate fuming.
