摘要

Abstract

Three production methods for titanium tetrachloride,namely shaft furnace chlorination,boiling chlorination and molten salt chlorination were introduced. The process flows of the boiling fluidized bed chlorination furnace and molten salt chlorination furnace installations were discussed. The influences of the characteristics of raw materials on production equipments were analyzed. The effects of temperature,velocity and concentration of Cl2,particle size and porosity of some of the raw materials,and contents of carbon,calcium and magnesium in the reaction system on the boiling chlorination were investigated. The prospect of the chlorination technology for the crude TiCl4 production was forecast.
