Symplectic time subdomain iterative method for mechanical systems with nonlinearities
摘要
Abstract
A symplectic time‐subdomain iterative method for nonlinear mechanical system is proposed in this paper . Firstly , the response of the nonlinear dynamic equation is divided into the linear part and nonlinear part in any time‐subdomain . For the linear part , symplectic time‐subdomain algorithm based on unconventional Hamilton incremental variational principle in phase space , is used to solve the linear equation . The nonlinear term is treated as load by substituting with the linear response , thus the symplectic time‐subdomain algorithm is used repeatedly until the error is satisfied . The solutions of two parts can be composed together to get the numerical results of original equation in current time‐subdomain . Then , the obtained end values are also regarded as the initial values of the next time subdomain and the iteration will be repeated until the values of the final time subdomain . Numerical example is presented to demonstrate the accuracy and the computational efficiency .关键词
