摘要

Abstract

In order to carry out a detailed research into airflow and heat transfer in engine compartment of bus,a mathemat⁃ical approach coupling outflow field of the bus and inner flow field in the engine compartment is used to analyse the air flow or⁃ganization in the engine compartment,and compare the air flow line and high⁃temperature area distribution before and after the improvement. Results show that the design of adding a baffle can decrease the circular flow area in engine compartment of bus and isolate the heat transfer from the engine to its radiator effectively. The improved layout of the engine compartment can meet the re⁃quirements of the bus and provide a reference for thermal management and improvement of the engine compartment of the bus.
