The Enrichment Product from Sponge Mycale phyllophila Water Extract by a Macroporous Resin and Its Anti-tumor Activity

摘要

Abstract

Marine sponges contain abundant bioactive compounds.This study established a method that a DA201-C macroporous ad-sorption resin was used to enrich bioactive products from Mycale phyllophila water extract.Lowry's assay showed that this method recovered about 57% of the total small molecular peptides from the water extract.The majority compounds of the enrichment product are peptides,accounting for about 89%.In addition,the enriched product has obvious inhibitory activities to C6 glioma cells, A2780-CP ovarian cancer cisplatin-resistant cells and HepG2 hepatoma cells.This study lays the foundation for in-depth study on the anti-tumor compound from M.phyllophila water extract.
